The Milk & Milestones mission is to support families of all backgrounds on their journeys — whether that means finding the best way to feed their new baby, helping their child communicate with the world around them, or overcoming picky eating. COMMUNICATION
Speech & Language Therapy
Speech therapy sessions are tailored to your child’s unique interests and needs. Rather than “drilling” speech sounds or vocabulary, we will engage in purposeful play activities and build communication skills for daily life. As your child’s most important teacher, you are always invited to observe and participate in our speech therapy session so you can help your child grow at home!
LACTATION
Support for Breast & Bottle Feeding
Feeding your newborn baby can feel daunting, and it looks different for every family. I will work with you to determine the best way for your baby to get the nutrients they need and create a plan to support your bottle or breastfeeding journey — including feeding and pumping routines, bottle/nipple trials, bodywork exercises, and referrals to other specialists.

Picky Eating & Sensory Aversions
At Milk & Milestones, feeding therapy is fun for the whole family! As a feeding therapist, I take the stress out of eating so your child will feel safe as they explore new foods and get messy. I also respect your child's boundaries and ensure they stay motivated. My goal is to join you at mealtimes, offer support in the moment, and create positive feeding experiences for everyone.

Hi, I’m Jakaycee! I am passionate about meeting families where they are and helping them advocate for their child’s communication and feeding needs.
Throughout my career as a speech therapist, I have worked with children in home health, private practice, and hospital settings. I understand that every family has their own unique values and culture and that parents are the experts on their children — so it’s my goal to encourage caregivers to step into that role with confidence. Whether we are meeting for speech or feeding therapy or for a lactation counseling session, we will focus on what’s most important in your daily life and celebrate every success along the way.
In my free time, you’ll find me reading, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in the Houston area. I look forward to learning all about your family’s interests and goals!
